It is not a buff. To use Switchbot, you need to have the Enchanted Item. It allows you to assign the bonuses you select automatically instead of manually.

So, I would like to ask, on a video of one of the youtubers I saw one opening a special window for adding buffs to equipment, where you could add specific ones I think, how do we do that?

You can open the section called the Quick Menu by pressing the X key. From there, you can access features such as the Bonus Switcher, Remote Biologist Mission, Monster Card, Won-Yang Converter, and more.
